Why is the district considering asking voters to approve a school bond?

If the bond passes, what would it cost?

The bond being considered would add an estimated $1.00 per $1,000 of assessed property tax rates. The total investment would be $70 million, and include $4 million in matching grants from the State of Oregon. The new rate will not be in effect until the prior bond expires.

An independent citizen Bond Oversight Committee would be established to oversee the use of bond funds if the bond passes.
